About the roleSafe Resolutions is seeking an experienced Project Safety Supervisor – BESS to join our team for the construction of this renewables project near Chinchilla. Working for Safe Resolutions, you'll be engaged by one the worlds largest renewables developers whom we have an ongoing relationship with and the possibility to work on other solar, wind or battery storage projects. With a number of other projects commencing with our client, there is the opportunity to work on other large scale BESS, Solar and Wind renewable projects across Australia. Your expertise will directly impact project success and organisational reputation in the renewable energy sector.The Project Safety Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring the principal contractors (and sub-contractors) compliance to their own SHMS and that of our client, the developer of the solar farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for regularly conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards and trends in reported data, reviewing incident investigations, ensuring the effectiveness of the SHMS and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks to our client. Coaching and mentoring will be provided by other Safe Resolutions team members. About youIdeally you’ll be available for an immediate start and come with a background of:- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or Cert 4 coupled with hands-on industry experience)- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Health and Safety industry coupled with hands-on experience- Experience in BESS/renewable construction, general construction/civil, mining or maintenance/fabrication- Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills- Ability to submit detailed reports and prepare audits- Working knowledge of WHS requirements and industry standards- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities- Valid driver’s license Ready to make an impact on project safety?
